Petto.me

Next.js + Tailwind web frontend

Companion stories, not admin dashboards

A vivid home for every pet life on the web.

Petto.me is now scaffolded as a Next.js and Tailwind frontend. The first screen sets a clear visual direction for pet identity, care rituals, health records, and family memory keeping.

01

Pet identity layer

Profile, traits, records, and household ownership in one calm surface.

02

Care ritual rhythm

Feeding, hygiene, wellness checks, and repeatable routines.

03

Family memory trail

Moments, milestones, and health notes stitched into a living timeline.

Care orbit

Daily care can feel warm, visible, and shared.

The interface leaves room for routines, progress, and gentle accountability instead of treating care as a list of dry alerts.

Current move

The web stack is aligned with the rest of the repo.

Petto.me now follows the same Next.js and Tailwind direction already used by the active web frontend projects in this repository.

Feature pillars

A product surface built around care, memory, and identity.

Identity cards that feel alive

Each pet can carry a portrait, temperament snapshot, household role, and trusted caretaker circle without looking like admin software.

Care loops, not cold reminders

The web experience can frame daily tasks as rituals with soft urgency, useful history, and a visible sense of progress.

Records families can actually revisit

Vaccines, clinic notes, growth moments, and behavior shifts belong in a timeline that is readable months later.

Ready for game-adjacent mechanics

The visual system leaves room for streaks, rarity, achievements, and collectible identity layers without forcing them into the first screen.

Ritual design

Short loops that fit real households.

Loop 1

Morning reset

Check appetite, mood, and the next care step in under a minute.

Loop 2

Health timeline

Anchor important updates around clinic visits, meds, and recurring observations.

Loop 3

Shared household log

Let family members leave short notes, photos, and care confirmations without friction.

Memory timeline

Important notes should age well, not disappear.

Today

Warm welcome

A friendly dashboard introduces the pet, current streak, and the next meaningful action.

Week 1

Ritual forming

Care cards start to show patterns, consistency, and which routines are slipping.

Month 1

Memory depth

The timeline becomes useful enough to revisit, share, and learn from.

Build notes

A clean Next.js base, ready for actual feature routes.

This first pass focuses on stack migration and a branded homepage. The backend MVP folder stays intact, while the top-level web app now uses the repo-standard frontend toolchain.

Next.js App Router for the web surface

Tailwind CSS for systemized UI composition

Static-first landing page that can grow into product routes

Legacy Nuxt starter removed from the active frontend path
